Privacy Policy

Loyable AG ("Loyable", "we") operates a digital loyalty platform for Swiss merchants and their customers. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have. We don't show ads and we don't sell your data.

Data we collect

Account data (your phone number and, optionally, your name); loyalty data (the cards you hold and your stamp, point or reward progress); device and usage data (app version, device type, anonymised usage events); location data, only with your consent, to help you find nearby shops; and merchant data for POS users (shop details and aggregated programme statistics).

How we use your data

To provide and maintain the loyalty platform; to authenticate you via SMS verification; to track loyalty progress and rewards; to send push notifications about your rewards and promotions, with your consent; to give merchants anonymised, aggregated analytics about visit patterns; to improve our services through anonymised analytics; and to comply with legal obligations.

Legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent (for notifications and location), for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and to comply with the law — under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP/DSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we share it with

We share data only with trusted service providers (such as our SMS and push-notification providers and our Swiss hosting), all contractually bound to protect it. Anonymous cards carry no personal data until you choose to register. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or to meet legal obligations. SMS verification logs are retained for a limited period. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, contact support@loyable.com.
